    The New Civil Disobedience

Are the Cyber Battles with the Enemies of WikiLeaks the New Civil Disobedience? | | AlterNet

This is a remarkable time to live in if you don't take it all that seriously. If you can stand aside and look at it as a spectator who has come to a sideshow for some diversion it is good for a few laughs.

Government types take this very seriously. This is not a game to them they are really up tight, but these hackers they are not cowed by any authority that is subjected upon them from outside. Not yet. They will of course eventually be smudged into a stain on the tapestry of history.

When there is one world government will there only be one star on the flag?

This and Assange himself is the reason behind the new UN's proposal to monitor the web and shut it down when necessary.

    UN mulls internet regulation options

We've seen what innovative people can do. If the powers that be decide to shut down the internet, there appears to be an enterprising community that is perfectly capable of erecting an alternative internet.

The technology is not high tech, it is standard.

These guys are making the spooks work for their dough. I wonder if we'll all die as a result.

Don't lump me with him because I have no loyalties that are related to belief systems. He may be okay he may be a crackpot. I don't know. I don't join groups and I have no loyalties to any system of thought. I'm your quintessential existentialist in the tradition of W.S. Burroughs who could approach his corpse on the roadside and look at it and walk by musing over it.

Anyone know what the 5 points are suppose to mean? I had heard something about it on the subject of symbology. But never paid much attention to it.....until there was more and more talk of globalization. Israel is the only one I know that is different and theirs is 8 points. Star of David.....
