Can Republicans Affect Change Now That They Have The Power of The House

Can The Republicans really bring any change to stop The White House Agenda? Especially when they do not have the Senate. Or is Boner just blowing smoke? What can McConnell do to stop the Democratically owned Senate..

Does having 6 more Republican Governors give the states more leverage against the Fed?

Republicans will want to continue financial support of the War In Afghanistan. Does the President give them what they want in exchange for what he wants?

Does the President go thru with removing all troops from Japan and Korea?

Can the Republicans repeal Healthcare without having the Senate? McConnell's only concern is tanking Obama's Presidency. He has presented no Ideas to move this Country forward and is as incompetant as Palin is. Both DeMint and McConnell are a blight to this Nation. Should Republicans and Cons do all that they can by getting on Radio and Television, and then begin tearing these two fake ass leaders down.

I would remind all my Republican and Neo-Con brothers that these next two years to keep an eye on the Heritage Foundation and the Southern Cons. That we continue to make them irrelevent other than to vote Conservative. Keeping them out of the mix and making sure there is a Separation of Church and State.

No, Republicans can't repeal the entirety of HCR without the Senate. However, they can pick off some of the really bad provisions as well as introduce some good new provisions and get it passed both houses. The question is; Can Obama swallow his pride and sign a bill changing his "baby" or will he veto anything that comes along?

As for Republicans, I suspected they didn't get what the election was about and Boehner proved me right today. He was asked about ear marks and the deficit and all he cold muster is a definate maybe. Two more years and we'll have to do this all over again...the primaries are the key. We'll need to vote out the old gaurd and throw in a bunch of freshman that don't know any different. That's the only way to end deficit spending and the pork that is associated with ear marks.

Did the left forget we helped pass S-Chip.....healthcare for kids. So there is a bridge to work in towards some sort of agreement. Looking out for seniors will be key. But again the problems will come in once the talk of insurance comes up. I wonder if healthcare could be mutually agreed by all if there were no insurance companies.

Nothing will get done in the next two years......probably betyond.

When McConnel says it is the Republicans number one goal to defeat Obama that is telling me there were just a lot of wasted votes. The goal of politicians should always be to improve our country and the lives of its citizens. This we have to beat them crap SHOULD not fly for anyone.

IF the house wastes an ounce of time trying to repeal Obamacare, I hope that the right takes notice and starts looking at who to vote out and who to vote for next time around. They don't have the numbers, period. Don't waste anymore time trying to make a point. We don't have that time.

The Dems blew there chance and now Rerpublicans have yet another opportuonity to prove they can do whats right for the American people. My money is on them blowing it too.

Spot on Joe... sad to say that a majority of today's voters are nothing but a bunch of politically ignorant, reality-TV-watching morons that vote out of spite (Hi Mikey!) or team alliance, no matter what the candidate's policies are about.
    Go watch the movie 'Idiocracy'.
