Thread: 78-year-old man in hit and run – passers-by do not help

You people have to remember, this is in the Peoples Republic of Connecticut, the place where theyre actually planning to raise taxes at the pumps after a year with a huge surplus. We Nutmegers have come to expect the government to take care of everything, so it's not really our fault when we come accross a situation that requires personal action and we freeze. Everyone was standing around, glazed look in their eyes, wondering where in the hell the g-men had gone.

I live right by the stop sign, whennpeople drive through it I yell at them-
it surprises a lot of people. Needless to say people think I'm nuts, but you know what- fuck'em.

Yea Bla, same here. LOL When I used to live in the city, my street started getting all these people (late for something) and they would just blow down the street at 40+ and it was only 15. I can't tell you how many animals I cleaned up in front of my house and they never stopped.
There was even 1 major accident and a few fender benders.
So, I started screaming at people to "SLOW DOWN" when they went by.
I would call and pester the city PD about it.. eventually, they got tired of me calling and started sitting at the end of the street catching the speeders. Eventually, the traffic pretty much stopped on my street.
