I don't care who is wrong or who is right, I don't give 2 craps about speculation into Democrats, I am glad that the violence is down...at this stage of this war, it is great news.

Why? According to the administration they were a threat to us.
If someone threatens me, and I deck him, do I have an obligation help him up? NO.
If someone threatens my family with a gun and I shoot him first am I obligated to pay his hospital bill? No.
So remind me again, oh libertarian one, why we must provide this socialist welfare for Iraq.

It's not welfare. Welfare means giving to people for no reason other than that they're poor.So remind me again, oh libertarian one, why we must provide this socialist welfare for Iraq.
This is giving to people because we blew their country up for no real reason.
And it puts them in tons of danger they shouldn't be in.Originally Posted by Johnlocke

And that was their own fault for supporting a despot like Saddam. (BTW I'm just quoting the conservative/libertarian argument on WHY we went to war and pounded the piss out of them in the first place.) It gets back to my fight analogy. I don't owe it to the guy I deck to pick him up. We don't owe it to the Iraqis.
So since I am now in "agreement" with the conservatives, that this was all about deposing Saddam, then it follows that we owe them NOTHING. Time to go home.
