I have a lot of questions concerning this subject, however real it is and would like to discuss not only the evidence supporting this notion but the reality of it if it IS true. I suppose this is the best section for it as of yet so instead of having a few posts claiming it should be moved I've put it here right off the bat.

If a NWO is to mean a 1 world government then is that so bad?

I remember reading a lot of sci-fi growing up and most alien planets and in some cases our own Earth was under a 1 world government of sorts.

Another question is; no matter how bad it may seem, is a NWO inevitable?

With cultures crossings more often and even ideals of that along the lines of terrorists, a 1 world government is inevitable in a distant future. Are we just fighting a change that will come no matter how much blood is let?

How do you see the world under a 1 world government?

I see it as optimistically as possible I suppose. Perhaps wishful thinking. At the present time I am not for a 1 world government but that is only because I have no clear indication of where it would lead.

Using my imagination I wouldn't see war under a 1 world government since there would be no one to war with. I can step back a minute and see the little ball of rock we live on and realize we all live on the same planet but fight over it as if some of it was worth more than another, but at the step back perspective, its all the same.

Another part of my imagination says it wouldn't even work and if it was able to work, it wouldn't be sustainable.

Clearly I am simply trying to open a discussion (can of worms) that goes into this as deep as possible. I'm pretty scatter brained on the subject and really I have no focus on one thing in particular. I will stop at this point and let someone else fill in some blanks for me.

It is the root of the evil.

Governments are inherently bad. They take the god given rights from people. A one world government can make any law and enslave anyone it wants. Look at Hitler, he wanted a one world government. Do you think that would be acceptable? Without other governments who would stop the NWO from carrying out any agenda they see fit? Do you think your interest concerns them?

So yes a one world government is not such a good idea.

I don't think one government will do anything to guarantee an absence of war; just from looking at the amount of civil wars we can see around the world. Take a huge country like India; all being really big means is that they can be fighting wars in some states while others are at peace.

Hitler didn't want a one-world government. I think racial purists would be horrified at the prospect of bringing hordes of Indian and African subhumans under the control of the Reich - there's a festering cancer from within if ever you've seen one. I think the ideal world according to Hitler would be a white man's Fortress Europe with all the Jews kicked out or murdered (and maybe the Slavs too).

Regardless, even if it were true, saying 'Hitler wanted a one world government' doesn't entail that a one-world government is a bad thing. The Nazis were in favour of old-age pensions; doesn't mean they're a bad idea (This was just the first example that popped into my head. I'm aware that, this being a primarily American forum, lots of you probably do think state pensions are a bad thing - replace it with 'building the autobahns' or whatever else you might agree with).

This country was founded to escape oppressive government. What kind of government would we have in a 1 world system? It wouldn't include a middle class. It would consist of rulers and their servants. The goal being to have control over everyone's lives. And the UN is leading this effort.

Freedom and democracy are not the same thing. Democracy is given to the people by the government, controlled by the government, and has the ability to be taken away by the government. It is a "mob rules" phenomenon that can be controlled by those in power through propaganda. Democracy can be imposed, freedom can not. It is achieved through life experiences. It allows one to control their own destiny, and make their own decisions on how to live their life...within reason and morality of course. That is why we have laws.

No. But freedom must constantly be fought for. We learn this through history.

It is not inevitable. What if those who fought for our freedoms in the past felt this way? We would be living in a different world completely. But their is a right way and a wrong way to go about doing this. We can attempt a revolution (which is what they would rather have). But what we really need to do is work at a serious attempt to restore a Constitutional Republican form of government...one which is governed by law, not by mob rule.

I think there will be a one world government (or something close to it) at some time. However, I don't think it is the people michaelr thinks are involved. I am talking about the antichrist. I don't know if you all believe the Bible (I do believe the Bible), but it does seem to indicate a one world government.

A new prediction;

They will put the push on real hard for microchips this year. They will use medical as a weapon. They will tell you it is for anti terrorism, they will then try to force it.

Applied Digital and Digital Angel Corporation have announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have cleared VeriChipâ„¢, the world's first implantable radio frequency identification (RFID) microchip for human medical uses in the United States. The external scanner passes a small amount of Radio Frequency Energy through the skin energizing the dormant VeriChip which then emits a radio frequency signal containing the verification number.
