I will save my mod buds a little time and post this here, however I believe that it should be under US Politics.

Yes 911 was his demise, and it should have been. Giuliani is a criminal at best, and guilty of one of the largest cover ups in this country's history.

First of all, how did Rudy, a Mayor even become a possible GOP nominee. Corporate media and the Bush Administration began a myth about Rudy Giuliani beginning on 9/11/2001?

I was actually surprised at how fast Rudy went down in popularity. I thought for sure, without a doubt, that he would be the Republican Party's nominee for president.

I asked my Mom a couple of days ago, (eventhough I rarely talk about politics with my family), who she was going to vote for since her boy Rudy was bowing out? I didn't really know if she was going to vote for him, but she is a lifelong Republican and went to hear Rudy speak over a year ago at a college, so I was just guessing.
But she told me that she actually was going to vote for Rudy and now she doesn't know who she would vote for; the only other thing she said was that she hoped to God that Hillary did not become president...........unfortunately she thinks it may be more of a possibility now......

Look at the candidates the R's have put up for the run. Not much excitement for any of them. I believed for over a year that the baton will be passed to Clinton.

Has your mother heard of Paul? Of course he is a different type of republican than Giuliani is, so she may not like him much.

Yes, people don't have an answer when I ask them why Guiliani, who insinuates that he is basically a revered saint on how he turned New York around, (I guess to be a target for "terrorists"), went along with allowing 9/11 to happen in his city?

Too many coincidences happened that day that allowed this attack to happen so "smoothly."

But yet, Guiliani and Bush were right there afterwards, of course so was Hillarity, to milk 9/11 right away for popularity and instant brainwashing of the Sheeple.

The truth is while everyone else was generating press Rudy just got negative press. Choosing to drop off the face of the earth and focus on Florida was his demise.
