Communism is supposed to be the final result of socialism. Socialism is just a means of acheiving a stateless and egalitarian society. This of course, will never happen, just as a truly capitalist society will never happen. Both extremes, capitalism and socialism, ignore human susceptibility to corruption.

IMO, when socialism is corrupted it becomes tyranical or like communism when capitalism becomes corrupt it becomes tyranical or like socialism.

True communism is a stateless society - so socialism cannot become communism in that fashion.

Socialism expects men to be worker bees which is exactly why it has never and probably will never work.

True communism has never existed. I was making a loose comparison to governments that exert extreme control over the means of production.
